Solar Base Expansion Panel

The Solar Expansion Panel allows you to increase the solar foot print of the Ridgetec Solar Base Unit.  Add a daisy chain of up to eight (8) Expansion Panels to your existing Solar Base Unit.  The panel's output cable will plug into the PV INPUT port on the base station while permitting a chain of other panels to attach to its input port on its junction box.

Depending on your situation, either mount the Expansion panel horizontally with your Solar Base or above/below.  If mounting above or below, make sure to provide distance to avoid casting a shadow on the panel below.

On a tree, a side by side can allow for capturing morning and afternoon sun.  A vertical alignment allows for a more precise aim.

This expansion kit comes with the following components:

• 15w Solar Panel
• 6ft (2 meter) output cable terminated with an m12 water proof threaded connector
• Mounting Strap
• Mounting Bracket
• U-Bracket
• Necessary Fasteners

Note: This panel will not fit our previous style of the Solar Power Kit with SAE connectors.
